My five years as Director of Instruction for the PGA TOUR Golf Academy have made me realize there's much more to getting better at golf than just hitting balls on the range!
Perhaps the most important things I've learned have come from working closely with great players. Taking your game to the next level means knowing all of the pieces that need to be in place. It's not just about the swing - but your stance, grip, posture - even how you read a course.
Learning how to put all of those pieces into place - that's what this school is all about.
I've designed the Scott Sackett Signature School as the ultimate in learning and conditioning. It's a chance for amateurs to learn the methods TOUR players use to achieve peak performance. We combine the most up-to-date teaching, psychological and physical conditioning to help you learn:
- A concrete understanding of the basic fundamentals of the golf swing and your body's capabilities in swing motion
- Specific drills to practice that directly address your game
- The mental process and sports psychology of TOUR players
- How to play towards your strengths, against your weaknesses
- Conditioning, training and nutrition for peak performance and to prevent injuries
In this four-day program, we'll begin by understanding exactly what you want to accomplish for your game. Our school covers every aspect of the game, including long game, iron play, putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, uneven lies, uphill, downhill, and troubleshoots. We'll also review your pre-shot routine, and show you how to practice effectively and develop on-course learning.
