Golf and life are synonymous for Tui.  Besides traveling around the country to compete in USGA and other national events, Tui has also been on the coaching staff for Xavier College Preparatory High School for the past five years.  She held the position of Assistant Coach for four years and in 2010 she was promoted to Head Golf Coach.  Under her leadership, Xavier women’s golf team finished 2010 as the State Runner-Ups and remains undefeated since 1997 as the Regional Champions!  Xavier College Preparatory also holds the record for the most consecutive matches won at 155!

Tui’s job as coach and mentor to young women golfers along with her own accomplishments on the course emphasize her commitment to the sport. Her ongoing participation in major golf events is an inspiration to those around her. And although some may think she has natural talent, perhaps even a gift, she is no stranger to hard work and practice, which has resulted in her long-term status as a Champion golfer.

Congratulations, Tui, for holding the record of 10 years as “Player of the Year,” the highest award given by the AWGA.  We are proud to honor your achievement as the “2010 Player of the Year!”
